I spent most of Saturday, April 2nd listening to ATH Summer, Fall, and Winter songs. So many of these songs I only have vague recollections of but after a few listens I've come away with one consistent feeling: It's truly amazing what God is doing through ATH and the way Darrin mixes the songs...they really sound rehearsed and not spontaneous. And Joy? MAN can she sing when she cuts loose!

I've listened to "Watchman" quite a few times now, and I never get tired of it. So different and unique than anything we've done before. I remember, when we were playing it, feeling my heart pound and knowing that this song was way bigger than ATH or even our church. It was and is a cry to the family of God! Every time I listen to it now, my heart pounds again and something inside me says "COME ON! This is our time!". Father certainly has his hand and even fingers all over it.

OMG! My new favorite song is "Fill us up God"! The first time I heard it I was chatting with my dad and not really listening, but I had to stop and listen when Kevin started singing (Dude, you were rockin' the David Grey!) and then when Joy started, I was on the verge of tears! I don't usually react that way, not unless I'm intentionally soaking. Great job guys; loved it!

Hard to believe this was spontaneous...But hey, I was there and it was! Amazing things happen when people surrender to God's presence and let their instruments and voices join with heaven's angels and praise Him! God is SOOOO in love with us!
